Treat Skin Rashes

The skin is the most exposed part of our body. Various people’s skin are affected by rashes caused by the sun’s rays or by unhygienic conditions, excessive sweating.

Rashes can also bring about blisters, inflammations and itching. If there is a rash on the skin it is most likely that the lower layers of the skin are also affected and treatment must be given which can go deep into the roots of the skin, as certain rashes need to be treated internally.

Barley water is a great way of reducing and removing inflammation on the skin. Mix some amount of barley with water. Boil and strain it. Soak a gauze in it and apply the water to the affected areas. If you are prone to getting rashes be careful with the cosmetics you use. Avoid the ones which have more fragrances and chemicals. Use more natural products instead.

Avoid being in the sun for more than fifteen to twenty minutes at a stretch. For those who suffer from rashes and skin problems like eczema and itching on the skin, a good way to relieve some of the itching would be to get in a tub of warm water and wrap some oatmeal in a muslin cloth.

Throw it into the tub. Allow your body to soak in the water for a while and then use the muslin cloth as a rub all over your body. Always make sure to pat your skin dry with a very soft towel. For your face, use a tissue rather than a towel or napkin.

Castor oil is also very effective if the skin is burning or itching. Rubbing a bit of it on the affected area will give you some relief. You will need to remove the toxins in your body which could be the main cause of the skin rash. For this, you will need to visit a skin specialist who will help you remove the toxins and clear out the skin well.

Applying wheat grass on the skin also helps heal it. Drinking wheat grass juice can also be very beneficial for the skin.
