The Best Way To Curb Underarm Sweating

Sweating under the armpits can cause lots of embarrassment with the foul smell that it creates. You are sometimes the last one to know that your armpits smell and you will find people constantly moving away from you. This problem can be dealt with the use of anti -perspirants, deodorants and water spray. You can decide what suits you best.

Anti-perspirants work better in hot and humid climates. They are more effective in eliminating body odour and it lasts longer. There are fewer chances of anti-perspirants causing skin irritation as compared to deodorants. Prolonged use of deodorants can cause the underarms to darken. Deodorants do not stop you from sweating; instead they give your body a nice fragrance through the day. Another alternative to smelly underarms is the use of water spray.

Water spray is more natural and leaves your body smelling fresh through the day. It does not cause any irritation to the underarms even if you have just waxed or shaved.

Anti -perspirants and water sprays are better than deodorants. They both allow your skin to breathe and work towards reducing sweating. If you are using deodorants you will find that you are sweating through the day as it does not control or reduce the sweat and by evening your underarms will have an unpleasant odour which is mixed with sweat and the deodorant.

Water sprays can be used all over your body and you can also spray it on your clothes. Whatever you choose to use, make sure you do not spray it too close to your skin and always wash it off at night. In the case of teenagers water sprays are a better option as their skin is more sensitive and they are going through lots of hormonal changes.

Excessive sweating can also be controlled by changing your diet and drinking plenty of water. Talcum powder is yet another option for sweaty underarms and does the least damage to your skin. It is more natural and special powders are available that keep you feeling cool in your arm pits. Opt for more natural products as they will do less damage to your skin in the long run.
