Skin Care Tips For Men
Men generally don’t devote much time to the grooming of their skin and end up having rough, unclear and unhealthy skin.Having a smooth skin leaves a good first impression, on people. Healthy skin not only boosts self-confidence but also increases the chance of dating.
The hormonal changes in puberty lead to acne and because young men love to eat a lot of fast food this problem gets worse. A healthy diet and drinking a lot of water is necessary for good skin. Avoid daily eating a bar of chocolate and have a fresh fruit instead. Include more fresh and raw food that is rich in proteins in your diet instead of eating processed food. Drink 10 or more glasses of water to get rid of blood toxins that are bad for skin health.
Keep the skin clean by washing it several times a day but never use soap for washing facial skin. Use a mild face wash instead. Moisturizing the skin is important for its health. Use a mild, oil free moisturizer after washing the skin if you have oily skin. Use sunscreen before going out in the sun.
Avoid excess exposure to the sun as much as possible as it dehydrates the skin making it dry and rough. Be extremely careful while shaving. Don’t let the razor pick on the acne and don’t be too rough on your skin while shaving. Gentle and careful shaving prevents the pain and infection. Always use a good after-shave lotion when you are done with shaving.
Never pick, scratch or even touch acne and blemishes because doing so may leave scars that last a long time. Touching facial skin spreads the skin oil on it and it promotes bacterial growth. This leads to more acne and unhealthy skin. In case of severe acne consult a dermatologist.
Mental disturbance is a contributing factor to acne. Always be positive and sort out any problem in life that may give you psychological stress. Listen to good music and practice sports, dance, yoga or a physical exercise that keeps you physically and mentally healthy.
