The easiest thing is to always carry a moisturizing lotion with you wherever you go. This way whenever you feel your skin is a little dry; you can go to the bathroom and moisturize yourself easily.

As well as that get in the habit of moisturizing your entire body after you shower every day. If you can make this your daily routine then it will be very beneficial for you. All the chemical based bath products that you use will dry your skin out. So after drying yourself, you should quickly moisturize your body.

A good habit to have would be applying an herbal or organic moisturizer on your body before going to bed. This way, by the time you wake up in the morning, your skin will have absorbed everything.

Other than this, bring about some changes in your diet such as consuming more water. Water keeps your body fully hydrated and if you consume around 12 to 15 glasses of water a day your skin will be really fresh and smooth.

Try to avoid eating junk and oily foods as they cause oily skin. During summers whenever you go out use sunscreen lotions to avoid getting sun burnt and sun tanned. It is quite easy to avoid getting dry skin and even easier to deal with it, so take the right precautions and your skin will stay smooth and healthy.
