Letting Your Skin Breathe
It is very important to keep the skin healthy. Unhealthy skin makes it looks dull and lifeless. It also begins to cause many skin problems. Poor skin is the first sign to aging as well.
Sometimes, it is more important to leave the skin alone than give it too much attention. As important as pampering the skin is to give it scope to breathe.
Simple ways of giving the skin it’s space are as follows:
Was the skin thoroughly of all make up. This is not a must only at the end of the day. It is important to get rid of make up even halfway through if you have applied make up in the morning. While at work, it is important to remove make up and reapply if necessary. It will help clean and clear the skin and give it some scope to breathe.
As important as washing skin is when make up is on, washing it without make up as equally important. You should wash the skin often as it is exposed to many forms of dirt, dust and pollution. This causes the pores of the skin to get clogged and does not allow the skin to breathe freely. This should be done at least twice or thrice a day, and more often when you go out.
The clothes you wear are also important. Use natural fabrics as far as possible so that the skin can breathe freely. Avoid too many layers of clothes unless the weather demands it. Make sure your innerwear is all made of light natural weaves.
In the summer, you must make sure that you wear light clothes in light colours so that sweat can leave the body freely and does not get trapped in the body. This will help the skin breathe better.
Your skin gets the most rest when you sleep. Try and use light cottons on your bed. Bed linen must be chosen carefully. They must be soft, natural and light so that the skin feels caressed and not roughed up.
Allowing the skin to breathe freely will make you feel more fresh and relaxed. It will also help you keep unwanted skin problems at bay.
