The skin gets dehydrated very easily. A dehydrated skin will invite wrinkles earlier than required and make you look older than your age. To ensure this does not happen, you must drink 8 glasses of water everyday. This will help your skin breathe easily. Start your day with 2 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. This facilitates easy bowel movement and then you  could move on to sip your tea or coffee.

An application of honey and rose water is one of the easiest home remedies for a glowing skin. Apply it and leave it for 5 minutes and  wash it with cold water. An application of banana and milk left for 20 minutes would do wonders to your skin.

Papaya gives vital nutrition to the body and skin. Apply it and feel the difference. Make a paste of powdered mango peels with milk. Apply it on areas more exposed to the sun. It will rejuvenate your skin and bring life into it. A red sandalwood paste too makes the skin feel good and soft. A mixture of honey and tomato juice applied for 20 minutes, leave it smooth and soft.

Last but not the least, you must have 6-8 hours of sleep everyday and live a life without stress. Stress is first reflected on the skin and hair. When you are stressed you tend to either eat more of junk food or eat in a much lesser quantity. Both of these do no work well on the body. The skin tends to accumulate too much oil leading to acne and black heads.

Exercise is important for people of all age groups. Children should indulge in cycling, swimming or any other sport and ensure they remain fit. For the older generation it is necessary you walk for half an hour everyday. This is the easiest way to remain alert and agile. You can have the option to either do yoga exercises or aerobics or any other form of exercise. Exercise keeps the brain alert and helps better blood circulation in the body.
