Itchy Skin – Causes and Remedies
Itchy Skin is among the most common skin problems where you will feel an unusual itchiness on either some part of your skin or all over your body. To satisfy this feeling you will want to scratch wildly throughout these itchy areas.

Some people are allergic to certain drugs like antibiotics, anti-diabetic, antifungal etc, given which they can complain about this problem.
If your itchy skin is the result of dryness, then you should start using moisturizer more frequently and more liberally. In mild cases, it might help you. But, if your itchiness persists for several days, then you should go for medical help. Your doctor will diagnose the actual cause of this itchiness and prescribe medicines accordingly.
At home you can follow certain methods to get some relief. First of all, you should try to avoid scratching the skin. The intensified scratching will definitely damage your skin. Use lukewarm water and low pH cleanser for your bath.
Thoroughly rinse your body so that no soapy water remains and then pat dry with a clean and soft towel. Avoid wearing tight and synthetic clothing. You might also change your laundry detergent to a mild and fragrance-free one. With these home remedies and prescribed medications, you can get rid of this embarrassing itchiness of your skin.
