How To Make An Oil Treatment For Dry Nails

Applying the oils (moisturizing oils) will make your nails shiny, will strengthen them, (if they are brittle) may bring back their composedness, etc.
Dry nails, many a times tend to become brittle and discolored. So to avoid that and bring back the color and the shine on your nails, you got to make and apply oil treatment.
Oil Treatment For Dry Nails
First Oil To Make
To make this oil you need Olive oil and lemon. Firstly, warm the olive oil for a few minutes; remember, warm the oil and not boil. Now in this, squeeze out the juice from the lemon. While adding the lemon juice, make sure that the pan is out of the fire. Stir the solution and pour the same inside a jar (preferably made of glass).

Let the mixture cool down to a temperature that is just a little warmer than the room temperature. To apply this, take a cotton swab or a cotton ball and dip it lightly in the solution. Now massage the same on your nails and the cuticle area and let the mixture dry as it may.

Next Oil To Make
The next oil to make, which you can apply on your nails, includes a process not much different than the first one. First, in a bowl, pour a small amount of almond oil; then go on whisking and add to this chamomile oil, lavender oil and vitamin E oil.
Like the first oil, store this oil in a glass container and use it when it is a little, but not too much, warm. Massage the oil on the nails. The container will keep the oil in tiptop condition for weeks.

Strengthening Oil
As mentioned above, dry nails tend to get brittle. So it is advised that you make and apply this strengthening oil. Bring ½ cup of boiling water in a bowl and add in this a considerable amount of neutral henna. Mix the solution until it becomes a paste.
Let the mixture cool down for a few minutes and then apply the same on your nails with the help of a cotton swab or cotton ball. Let this dry on your nails and stay for about 10-12 minutes then wash off with cool water and then pat dry with a towel.
