Steps To Exfoliate Dry Skin
Dry skin responds well when exfoliated under warm shower. Steam generated by the warm shower will infuse moisture into the skin and will make it soft and supple. First wet your body and face under the shower. Then apply the home-made scrub all over the body using circular motions. Massage the exfoliating scrub on the body for 5-10 minutes to remove dead skin cells. You may need to scrub harder on tougher areas of your body such as feet, elbows, knees, etc.
Use gentle circular motions to exfoliate your facial skin. The area under the skin is extremely delicate and develops wrinkles easily. Thus exfoliating the area under eyes must thus be avoided.Once you have scrubbed your body and face, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry with a soft towel.
After-Care For Dry Skin
Dry skin needs special care after exfoliating. Use a light moisturizer all over body and face once you step out of the shower. This will complete your skin care regime and make your skin appear fresh and baby-soft.
