How To Cure Excessive Underarm Sweating
Sweating is a very natural phenomenon and it helps to regulate your body’s temperature. It acts as a coolant as it absorbs the internal temperature of the body and prevents the body from getting overheated.

How To Cure Excessive Underarm Sweating
Keep Yourself Hydrated
The very first thing to do to prevent hyperhydrosis, is to keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water. The usual recommendation is to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day, but, the more the better. However make it a point not to drink ice cold water.
The body is constantly working to regulate its internal temperature, and intake of cold water will make it work harder to get back to its normal temperature. As a result your body will heat up causing excessive sweating.
Maintain a Healthy Diet
Active participation of a healthy diet cannot be overlooked even for preventing hyperhydrosis. Stop consuming processed and spicy foods altogether. Instead concentrate more on natural and unprocessed foods like vegetables, fruits and whole grains that helps to maintain a constant body temperature.
Watch What You Wear
Those who sweat excessively must always wear loose fitting clothes that allow the air to easily pass through. The fabric of the clothes should be very light, natural and breathable that can absorb the perspiration.

Avoid Drinking and Smoking
Excessive drinking stimulates the blood circulation of the body that increases the heart rate. This automatically raises your body’s temperature. Similarly the adrenaline rush that you experience after smoking causes your heart rate to speed up. Both these conditions are not only damaging for your health, but it also leads to excessive sweating. Therefore drinking and smoking should be avoided as far as possible.
Use Antiperspirants
Over the counter body sprays and deodorants does nothing to prevent excessive sweating. Therefore it is best to stay away from them. The apt solution for hyperhydrosis is antiperspirants that contain aluminum chloride.
High levels of aluminum chloride blocks the sweat glands thus preventing excessive sweating. You can apply the antiperspirant at night and wash it off in the morning. However be aware, because aluminum chloride tends to irritate the skin. Therefore it is recommended not to use it more than three times a week.
Botox Treatment
Botox treatment is no longer limited to wrinkles; it is even used as an effective cure for excessive sweating. This treatment is applied by injecting 50 units of Botox in about 20 spots in each of your armpits. Botox injections are no doubt uncomfortable, but they guarantee at least six months of sweat free armpits in every session. This treatment works excellently as it temporarily blocks the pores that cause excessive sweating.
So, if you are suffering from excessive sweating of the armpits, don’t hesitate to try any of the aforementioned cures, because they are bound to give you positive results.
