How to Cope with Oily Skin
Oily skin is hard to deal with. The main causes of the oily skin are hormonal changes in the teenage, inheritance, bad eating habits, menopause, pregnancy, summers, birth control pills and make up products. There are other causes as well but here, we have to deal with the problems in a systematic way.
Flawless appearance is a big achievement for people with oily skin. The advantage of oily skin is that it is not prone to premature ageing but it has heck of side effects which is reason enough to control it.
Warm water is essential for cleansing of oily skin. It helps to clog the oil producing pores but do not use soap thinking it would clear off the oil. It is harsh and promotes the problem even more.
Use face washes meant for oily skin. they easily dissolve the sebum which gives you shine over face.
Use oil free beauty products like moisturizers, body wash, toners, and etc. wash face thrice in a day to shed off the extra oil over the surface of skin. For night skin care, antiseptic cream could used to keep the allergies caused by excessive oil at bay.
Once in a week, apply clarifying mask as it cleans the skin from deep. Exfoliate with a good scrub in every alternate day so that the oil could stay in control.
As for home remedies, try applying paste of cucumber juice, fuller earth, papaya and dried orange peel.
All these ingredients are miracle for oily skin and regular use of them helps to reduce the amount of oil secreted by the oil glands. In summers, rub the face with ice cube whenever you come home after a day out as it removes sun tan and cleans the skin deeply.
Keep a tissue with your self and wipe off the extra oil that comes into skin to have a clean look. Diet plays a key role in the secretion of excessive oil so ban spices, oily food, junk food and white flour from your diet. Drink fluids in any form such as orange juice, lemonade drinks, water, coconut water.
