Most of us face the problem of uneven complexion. Simply put, the skin on our face is not smooth and even.

We might have patchy, rough or skin ridden with breakouts. There are many problems that can give rise to uneven skin texture.

Your skin could be oily in some parts, while comparatively dry in others. So, different parts on your face require varying types of attention.

The pores on your face could be of different size; big as well as small. The skin tends to get damaged by the sun in some parts more than others. This makes it appear dull only in certain sections. Areas likely to get damaged by the sun quickly are around the eyes as well as mouth.

The good way to avoid this is to adopt a healthy and fitting skincare regimen. You should include cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, sun protection, in your skin care regimen necessarily. In addition eat a balanced diet, drink lots of water and exercise regularly.

If your complexion is uneven, then try some home remedies. Sandalwood oil has many beneficial and curative properties. You can mix it into the cleanser, scrub, toner, moisturizer you are using daily.

It can help get rid of acne, red patches, spots, freckles and any swelling on the face. It can soothe a sunburn, rashes and prickly heat condition. It also lightens your complexion.

If you are looking to cure your scars; you can apply scar creams or try a few natural remedies. Rub some lemon juice, fresh strawberries or vitamin e oil onto your skin. Sometimes you have white colored scars on your skin. Here are a few remedies to help you deal with them. Apply aloe vera gel, sandalwood powder, honey, vitamin e oil on the trouble areas. Cocoa butter has healing properties and can help fade scars. Apply some fresh onion or lemon juice on the scar.
