Eight Prime Sources Of Acne

Acne is a common problem of men and women especially when they reach the time of adolescence. Different types of hormonal changes occur inside their body during this period and this is the main reason of acne. Acne is not at all fatal disease but it makes the appearance of a person ugly. Acne is a disease of hair follicles on face, chest and back. Acne can also caused by the bacteria. This article will discuss the several sources of acne.

Oil And Grease

some people have excessive oily skin and it increases in hot and humid weather of summer. Unless the oil is cleared from the skin timely, it starts to clog the pores of the skin. Accumulation of oil may turn to acne. For this reason keep your face clean and oil free to make your skin acne free. During adolescence one sex hormone called as androgen starts secretion. It makes skin oily. That is why during this period the skin gets oily and the problem of acne aggravates or starts, where sometimes there was none. Androgen hormone stimulates sebaceous glands to produce more sebum. This extra sebum produces more fatty acids. These additional fatty acids cause and increase the amount of inflammation and make acne more critical.

Dirt And Makeup

you should keep your skin clean all the time. Wash your face 3-4 times with plain water and at least two times with mild face wash to remove oil and dirt from the upper layer of the skin. If grease and dirt began to accumulate on the skin and clog the pores of the skin, the bacterial infection happens and the result is acne and pimples. You must clean your face well before going to bed. If you have earlier applied make up, remove it completely before going to bed. Our skin repairs at night in the time of sleep.

That is why after a good night’s sleep our skin rejuvenates. So go to bed with clear skin otherwise your skin will not be able to breathe. After cleaning your skin, do not apply cold cream or sticky lotion to make your skin greasy. Moreover it blocks the pores of the skin and your skin will not be able to breathe. If you need you can use specialized night cream for your skin.

Stress

Stress and anxiety has a direct link with acne and pimple. Research has shown that when we make tension or become anxious excessively for something, our body produce more androgen hormone. This hormone stimulates sebaceous gland to produce more sebum. Not only mental stress, physical stresses such cold, allergy, surgery, etc. may trigger the problem of acne. So relax. Do not make tension over something. This may lead you to acne problem because it has been proved that stress is one of the major sources of acne. So relax and do not make tension on any particular reason. Try to handle your stress with yoga and meditation.

Hormonal Imbalance

It has been found that during pregnancy some hormonal imbalances and changes occur in a woman’s body. For this reason it has been found that pregnant women are prone to acne even those who have not faced this problem earlier in their adolescence. In menopause the level of androgen hormone increases and because of this the level of two female hormones estrogen and progesterone drop. Naturally your body comes under the control of male hormone androgen which makes your skin oilier. Oilier skin leads to more clogged pores which in turn lead to pimples and bacterial infection.
