Due to long term exposure to sun or due to some unavoidable unhygienic conditions, or due to careless approach towards our skin, it can catch number of skin problems like acne, blisters, sunburn and skin rashes. It is essential that in either of the situations, an individual takes proper skin care. For this, it is important that one knows the causes and symptoms of a skin disease, before its treatment is started.
Acne, also referred to as common acne, happens to almost everyone at one or the other point of life. They happen due to the secretion of excessive oil from the skin’s glands and can take the form of blackheads, whiteheads and pimples. One can have acne either at the start of puberty or can have them in late 20s and early 30s too. Occurring of acne is mostly dependent on skin type and hormonal changes happening inside body. To cure it, one should wash face with a good cleansing soap, three to four times a day.
This cleans the excessive oil being produced by the glands. A combination of alcohol and acetone can also be used to clean the face. In case of sunburn, which is caused by the ultraviolet radiations, one experiences skin redness and irritation, and its extent depends upon the amount of exposure to sun, time of the year and season during which the exposure happened . One can also suffer from chills, nausea, vomiting or fever due to sunburn.
To treat it, protection from sunrays is the best cure. In addition to that one should generously apply sunscreen on skin and wear the clothes that cover the skin properly. Skin blisters are like skin bubbles filled with fluid such that they are followed by skin redness, itching and pin on the skin.They can be caused by sunburns or due to some harmful chemical. To treat blisters one can clean the area and then squeeze the blister fluid gently out.
At times it can need proper medical attention too, depending upon the colour of the fluid. Skin rashes can be caused due to some allergen, climatic changes or some skin irritant. Its common symptoms are itchiness, redness on skin and dryness and can be cured by applying some medicated ointments. But in either of the situations one must consult a doctor for an expert opinion.
