Nobody is born with a perfect face. We all crib about something or the other on our face. Somebody doesn’t like her nose; somebody hates her chin, while somebody hates her thin lips. The list is endless.

But then do we have to live our lives being unhappy and distressed? No ways. We have something to our rescue, and that is the art of Corrective Makeup. As the name suggests, corrective makeup aims at covering all the imperfections to make you look the best.

To start with, most of the women lust for an oval shaped face. So those with oval face should feel blessed as it is the best shape and everything suits on this face type. Those with round or square face should follow these tips. Apply the foundation matching your skin color all over your face. Now take a shade darker than your skin tone and apply it downwards starting from beneath your cheekbones till your chin. This will give a look of long face.

A sharp pointed nose is every girl’s dream, but now you can actually have it. Apply foundation in a shade darker than your skin tone on both sides of your broad nose. Now take a shade lighter and blend it starting from the forehead to the tip of your nose. You are ready to flaunt a less broad nose.

Double chin looks ugly on the face and can spoil your overall look. But now you can get rid of that by a simple art. Apply foundation in a darker shade, starting from the chin going down till your neck. This will nullify the effect of double chin.

A sleek neck makes every outfit look all the more glamorous, whereas a broad and fatty neck spoils the look. Even a good neck piece or a dress with attractive neckline cant make it look any better. Apply foundation in a shade darker than the one applied on the face, on the neck. Blend it properly and dust some bronzer to highlight your collar bones. This will give a look of well toned neck.

While doing corrective makeup, always remember to blend the foundation properly or else it will crack out and would look ugly. If done with proper care, it is your elevator to perfection.
